This page is aimed towards younger readers in hopes that they might enjoy the written word as much as some of us older folks do. I encourage kids of any age to read and believe, because belief is what Santa and his elves is all about.

There is a small town that hardly anyone gets to see. It is a town covered in secrecy and magic. It is the town that all children have heard of and very few get to see. It is a town that few adults truly believe in – this town is called the North Pole.
That’s right this little town located way up north in the middle of nothing but snow is where Santa and Mrs. Claus as well as hundreds of elves live. This town of magic is where Christmas lives year round.
In fact right now at this busy, busy time of year Santa is going over his lists one last time, making sure everything is just right. After all Santa doesn’t want any child to have nothing of Christmas.
So in the main office of the elves workshop, Santa sits in his big green chair in front of a cozy fire carefully reading his lists. He even has something small for the children on the naughty lists. No one will go without this year.
Outside of his office the elves are busy putting the last touches on the toys for the children. There are still dolls that need ribbons in their hair and trucks that need wheels. One of Santa’s elves would never let a child down.
In the little house where Santa lives with Mrs. Claus fresh baked chocolate chip cookies are coming straight from the oven. Mrs. Claus carefully puts some of her cookies in a red and green box and covers it tightly so that Santa will have something to eat on his long journey across the world this night.
A short time later Santa is finished with his lists and Mrs. Claus’ cookies are in their pretty box on the sleigh for Santa. And as for the man in red himself, well he’s standing next to his beloved red sleigh humming a well known carol as he waits for the elves to finish hitching the reindeer to his sleigh.
A few short minutes later Santa is seated on his sleigh with his large bag of toys and is taking off on his world wide delivery. For in a short while every child will be waking up bright eyed and eager all hoping for something and Santa will not disappoint who believes.

It’s early Christmas eve now and I have to tell you that the past year has been more of a challenge than usual. Four different times he lost his list and every time he found it he had add more names to it. Right now though he is seated in his high-backed green chair in his office going over his list on last time.
On the edge of the desk is some of Mrs. Claus’ chocolate chip cookies and a steaming hot mug of hot cocoa. While the cocoa cools the jolly man grabs another cookie and begins to snack away whilst he goes over his list one last time. He is pleased to see that there are more kids on the good list than the bad list this year.
Looking up and out the window to the weather conditions that he will have to fly in Santa is grateful that he has Rudolph to lead them because with his bright red nose to act as a beacon of light to follow Santa wouldn’t know how he was going to get through the major storm that was just beginning to brew. With a shake of his head Santa finished his list and rose from the chair. He finished the last of the cookies that Mrs. Claus had made for him and quickly drank what was left of the cocoa.
He then walked over to the wall where his signature bright red and fur lined coat were hanging and put it on over his red pants that were held up with suspenders. He then puts on his fur lined cap that was hanging on the hook next to the jacket and finally he made his way out of his workshop and towards his sleigh where the elves were already busy hitching the team up.
With a merry laugh Santa climbed into his sleigh full of gifts for every child on the planet and with a bit of magic the sleigh along with the reindeer were off into the night sky to make a child smile on this most special of days.

As Edwynn quietly watched over the other elves the front door to the factory opened and in came Mrs. Claus. She was carrying a large plate of cookies and a smile lit her face.
When the elves realized that she was present they all stopped what they were doing and turned to look at her respectfully, after all she was the big man’s wife and besides that she was as jolly as her husband and some liked her more than they did him – after all she bought them treats at times and anything that came out of her oven was well worth it. Even Edwynn agreed with that and he was as passionate about sweets (all elves were actually) as he was about making toys for the children on Santa’s list.
With a cheery smile upon his little elfin face Edwynn replied, “I think it’s break time, ma’am.” His tone was as cheerful as anyone could be.
The other elves started chattering excitedly as the plate of cookies made its way around from one elf to the next.
Edwynn knew there would be plenty of time to work on the children’s toys after they all had a good snack to fill them up.
